Chief Miller and the Community Impact Unit

The Salem Chamber invites all retailers, restaurants, attractions and hospitality businesses to join us for an informational meeting with Salem Police Chief Lucas Miller and the members of the Community Impact Unit. Topics of discussion include the work of the Community Impact Unit in downtown Salem, how to best communicate with them and the Salem PD, as well as a range of topics of interest to the business community: Homelessness, Panhandling, Opioids and mental health, public safety and recent incidents, Salem's Sound ordinance, and more. 
(We are expecting most to arrive on foot, but if you plan on driving, please inform the Chamber staff so we can have Hampton inn reserve a parking space for you)
