Powerful Tools for Caregivers Training

North Shore Elder Services will be providing another Powerful Tools training for caregivers starting September 10th. Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a six part educational series designed to assist those who are caring for a relative or friend. Whether you are helping a parent, spouse, friend, or someone who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country, this program will provide the tools you need to: reduce stress and relax; communicate effectively with other family members, doctors, or service providers; reduce guilt, anger, and depression; make tough decisions; and set goals and problem solve. This program does not focus on specific diseases or hands-on personal care training. The program runs on Mondays, starting September 10 through to October 22, 2018, from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM at North Shore Elder Services, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 200, Danvers, MA. The cost is $10.00, which is refundable upon completion of the program.
