Wine 101 with The Cheese Shop

Wine 101 at The Cheese Shop of Salem is for anyone who loves wine and wants to learn more about it in a fun and supportive environment! Led by your resident certified wine experts, Susan and Molly, this class will explore how to taste and analyze wine while enjoying a line-up of wines from around the world. Wine 101 will exmaine how to identify the essential elements in wine (sugar, acid, tannin, and alcohol) and will review general food pairing guidelines to major grape varieties. Enter the class a novice, and leave with a keen sense of what makes wine so special. Over the course of the class, enjoy 5 different wines alongside cheese and charcuterie pairings.
