Workshop: 3D Printing: What is it and why is it so hot?

3D printing, also referred to as additive manufacturing, is a rapidly evolving suite of technologies that enables both corporations and individuals to blur the line between the digital and the physical, and actually design and produce a product at a relatively low cost. Come learn about this new technology, who’s using it, why it has captured the global imagination, and why it holds such tremendous potential in so many areas.
